castles and parks
The estate's park, which dates back to the 17th century, was transformed into a landscape park by Ludwig Lesser in 1910. Sightlines, plant groups, rare tree species and built-in features have largely been preserved. The dilapidated castle is not accessible. It is worth visiting the village church and the farm workers' cottages, which were built around 1800, on the estate wall.

A visit to the park is especially fun when the weather is nice. Visitors to the Lindenberg estate park can learn how this happens and gain a scientific impression of the development of the climate and its effects on our planet by visiting the weather museum, which is located about 1 kilometer to the north. Museum guests learn everything they need to know, from weather observations to measuring the various climate parameters to the phenomena of climate change. A climate fence documents the climate records in Lindenberg over the past 100 years and clearly illustrates the changes in the climate over this period.
