The monument with its inscription stands in a reconstructed form between Briesen (Mark) and Kersdorfer Schleuse. The original antlers now hang in the Moritzburg hunting lodge near Dresden. In 1896, they were returned to Briesen for a short time for the 200th anniversary celebrations.
The monument is located in the direction of Kersdorfer Schleuse, about 1 km after crossing the motorway.
