The Hirschkoppel is an agricultural game reserve that has been in operation since 2006. Around 15 fallow deer are kept on around 50 hectares of pastureland directly on the Krummen Lake and the meat is sold directly from the farm.

The animals live off what the pastures provide and what they are fed in winter. This is mainly chestnuts collected by kindergarten children and hay. If that is not enough, they get crushed oats and beets from friendly farmers.

From May 01.05st to October 31.10st, the enclosure can be visited on Saturdays from 13pm to 18pm. It is also open for the Brandenburg Country Party.

Fallow deer products can be purchased seasonally from the farm. This would be mainly at Easter and from the end of November or beginning of December freshly slaughtered for the Christmas season. Please enquire in advance by phone or email.
