In the historic town centre of Bad Freienwalde, opposite the concert hall, is the new "Hof-Theater" in one of the romantic courtyards on Königstraße.
The ballroom of the former "Hotel Drei Kronen" was converted into a film theater in the mid-30s and operated as a cinema under the name "Kurlichtspiele" until 2011. As the spa town's new theater stage, the "MusikTheater- Brandenburg eV" association now operates the building, which was completely renovated in 2019, as a "Hof-Theater" and offers its guests the opportunity to experience theater, musicals and comedy in a cozy setting.
