The Catholic Church of the Holy Family in Rüdersdorf was built in 1905 in the neo-Romanesque style. The cross-shaped building with a striking bell tower stands on a limestone base and was built in just seven months thanks to the commitment of the community members.
The church's interior features an impressive small organ from the VEB Frankfurter Orgelbau from 1978, which has 523 pipes and eight registers and is still in use today. In addition, 14 stations depicting the Passion of Jesus decorate the walls of the church. They tell the story of Jesus' journey from condemnation to burial in an impressive way. The church is an important religious and architectural testimony to the region.
