The Movieland cinema has been the family cinema for Erkner and the surrounding area since 1996. A mixture of current box office hits and sophisticated films is shown in two cinema halls. One of the halls is equipped with modern cinema technology (Dolby 3D).
Almost every Monday at 14 p.m., the FilmCafé takes place with coffee and cake, where old classics as well as interesting new productions are shown. On selected Sundays, live recordings of top-class opera and ballet performances from the London Royal Opera House are shown in the large cinema hall. Breakfast and a glass of sparkling wine are included in the admission price.
For many years, individual events such as live cabaret or lectures have also taken place.
