The Kulturgießerei Schöneiche near Berlin is a versatile cultural center that appeals to a wide audience through exhibitions, concerts, readings, theater performances and art courses. Located at the entrance to Schöneiche near Berlin, the historic building of the former state art trade of the GDR is part of the Schöneiche Cultural Forum, which also includes the castle church, the roughage store, the Seiler foundry and the castle park.

With around 18.000 visitors annually, the Kulturgießerei offers a varied program and carries cultural impulses far beyond the municipal borders. Supported by grants, sponsors and volunteers, the center secures its operations and constantly expands its offerings. The Kulturgießerei focuses on cultural diversity and sustainability in order to maintain this unique institution in the long term.
