The Museum of Paleontology, Archaeology and Modern Times in Platkow is maintained by the Gusow-Platkow History and Local History Association. The museum aims to present and examine regional history using a variety of means and forms. The exhibition "What to See" was opened on the occasion of the 775th anniversary. Topics on the prehistory and early history of Platkow, the history of schools, local business life and the period of the Second World War are very popular.
In 2020, the Platkow Museum will also commemorate the end of the war and the liberation 45 years ago in the exhibition "45...Oderland was burned down" and parts of the photo exhibition "Traces of war - here and there - 20/75".
