As a family business, "Olaf the Fisherman" is entirely dedicated to fishing. Since 2014, the family has managed the Kossenblatt lakes and operates a traditional, so-called still fishery there.
The fish come from the lakes around Kossenblatt and are processed into smoked fish daily. A focus is placed on traditional hot smoking, which gives the fish specialties their succulent and aromatic flavor.
The focus is on native fish species such as eel, pike-perch, carp, pike, tench, and catfish. The family places great importance on high product quality, regional fish species, and the preservation of traditional fishing practices.
The products are available in the region via mobile sales units, at the farm shop in Giesensdorf, and in the online shop. There you can conveniently order smoked fish and have it delivered to your home.
