The Ranziger See is located directly next to the village of the same name in the Brandenburg municipality of Tauche. Surrounded by pine trees, the 32-hectare lake with its natural shore areas is located in the immediate vicinity of the Leißnitzsee and the Spree, which flows north from there. The Ranziger See is up to 18 meters deep and has excellent water quality. The visibility is up to two meters. The clear water attracts bathers to the lake in summer, who use the free areas on the shore.
