The bathing area with the large lawn on Scharmützelsee is located directly on the southern edge of the Alte Eichen peninsula. The lawn is surrounded by trees and has an open beach area with a view of the lake. A small boat jetty and barrier-free toilets are a few minutes' walk away (regatta site).
There are numerous parking spaces available for those arriving by car. There is also a bus stop nearby for those arriving by public transport.
