castles and parks
The Buckow Castle Park, originally created in the 17th century, was reconstructed according to historical plans and today combines relaxation and nature with art and culture in a very special way. Located directly on the Griepensee, the park offers a lawn for sunbathing, a bocce court, a children's playground, a fountain, the remains of an ice cellar, an herb garden, a barefoot path, a small pavilion and two water treading areas.

In the warmer months of the year, numerous cultural events and festivals take place here: summer concerts from the series “Classics in the Green”, “Buckow Rose Days” - the local and traditional festival of the small spa town, the Buckow Garden and Health Day and the “Long Night of Art and Nature”.

Above all, the water treading areas continue to attract health enthusiasts who wade through the famous “Kneipp” bath with their feet to experience the beneficial effects of the water.
