Certified tourist information and information points
Friedland, located between the Spree, Schwielochsee and Schlaube, is a small, quiet town with 16 districts. In addition to the church in the center, there is also the castle with the tourist information office in the town center.
Nestled in a charming natural setting, it offers visitors idyllic hiking routes and cross-regional cycle paths through unspoilt nature. A hand-operated ferry connects the towns of Leißnitz and Ranzig. This is particularly interesting for cyclists, as it allows them to shorten the journey around Schwielochsee considerably and take a break.
Characterized by its partly wild beauty and rich variety of flora and fauna, the Schlaubetal Nature Park inspires those seeking relaxation and is a real experience.
Along the Spree and at the beautiful Schwielochsee you will find, in addition to numerous smaller bodies of water, peace, relaxation and offers for active people and families with children.
Beautiful beaches, marinas and secluded little rest and bathing areas allow you to plan your stay individually and yet in a variety of ways.
