Wachtelturm Hennickendorf

The 28-meter-high Wachtelturm stands on the south side of the Wachtelberg. The foundation stone was laid in 1938. The tower was planned as a fire brigade training tower and hose drying tower, as well as an observation tower for walkers. The observation platform can be reached via 96 steps. Since 2012, the tower has been part of the 66-lakes hiking trail.
All hikers who, in addition to the Wachtelturm, climbed the observation tower on the Kranichsberg near Woltersdorf and the bell tower in the Rüdersdorf Museum Park over the course of a year and collected a stamp at the cash desk of the respective tower, will receive their personally awarded tower diploma with the last stamp.
