Wildpark Frankfurt (Oder)

Naturally wild - a park for nature lovers. The wildlife park is located on the western outskirts of Frankfurt (Oder), at the entrance to the city forest. The 17-hectare site served as a shooting range for over 100 years. The wildlife park was built in the 1990s by the Wildpark Frankfurt (Oder) association and opened in 2000. Since 2006, the Gronenfelder workshops of the Wichern Diakonie, a recognized workshop for disabled people, have been running the wildlife park. All work in the wildlife park is carried out by people with disabilities under the supervision of specialists.
The wildlife park displays plants and animals from Europe's temperate climate zones. A circular path leads past 300 animals of around 30 species. A special experience is meeting the herd of fallow deer, which can move freely in part of the wildlife park. Two playgrounds and the "Kobel" wildlife park restaurant invite you to linger and enjoy. Children's parties, concerts and radio play evenings are held seasonally.
Visitors with dogs are welcome to visit the wildlife park, but dogs must be kept on a leash.

After a tour of the wildlife park, the wildlife park restaurant "Kobel" invites you to enjoy delicious food and drinks. The bistro offers 25 indoor seats in a rustic ambience, and when the weather is nice you can linger on the terrace right next to the playground for our little wildlife park visitors.

The educational offerings at the Wildpark School are tailored to the curriculum. The activities offered are experience- and action-oriented and stand out from the options available at school.

To get there, take bus number 980 or 982 to the Am Wildpark or Rosengarten junction stop. If you are coming by car, drive to the Rosengarten car park.
