From December 1st to 24th, Brandenburg's largest travel region invites you on a very special journey of discovery. Behind every door of the Advent calendar on the website seenland-oderspree.de you will find unique experiences, offers and inspiration: whether special tours, exclusive museum visits, magical Christmas events or culinary highlights - every day offers a new and special activity from the Berlin area to the Oder border, from Scharmützelsee to Schlaubetal.
The focus is on getting to know special people with their interesting stories and discovering exciting places. Be it the organist in Müllrose, who knows her favorite instrument very well, the monk from Neuzelle, who talks about his life in the monastery after a tour of the resort, the captain who sails guests across the Schwielochsee and reveals one or two exciting anecdotes, the Schlaubetal hotel manager, who talks about his passion for the region around a cozy fire bowl, the forester, who knows not only the forest but also about game, or the tourism experts from Wendisch Rietz, who invite you on a hike through the resort followed by a mulled wine chat. Rüdersdorf Museum Park, the Lunik in Eisenhüttenstadt, the historic tram and St. Mary's Church in Frankfurt (Oder), the Weather Museum in Lindenberg, the Streleburg castles of Beeskow and Storkow, the Court Theater in Bad Freienwalde or the Museum in Strausberg are just a few of the many places to explore over 24 days.
