With the slow trips - time for the country and its people, the Seenland Oder-Spree tourism association won first place in the pro agro marketing award in the "rural and nature tourism" category. As part of the International Green Week, the chairman of the board Rainer Schinkel, the managing director Ellen Rußig and the regional manager of the LAG Märkische Seen Grit Körmer accepted the award on the first day of the trade fair. The slow trips, which have now been awarded a gold medal, are intended to give guests and locals alike time to engage with and get to know the customs, craftsmanship and culture, regional products and, last but not least, the people of the region. You are invited to slow down and try things out. At the end of a slow trip you go home with a special experience and a lasting memory. The more than 1 slow trips offers have been designed in an environmentally friendly way and are sorted by category, with their content and booking options shown on the website www.slow trips.de. "When developing our products, regionality and supporting local providers are important to us. With our slow trips we have created an offer that is in tune with the times because it is authentic and appealing to guests and locals alike, while at the same time adding value to our destination,” says Ellen Rußig. Second place in this category also went to the Oder-Spree Lake District. The RGV Schlaube Oderland eV can be delighted with this award. They convinced the jury with the new Oder ferry connection between the German town of Aurith and the Polish village of Urad. The ferry offers the opportunity to cross the Oder between Frankfurt (Oder) and Coschen for the first time since 30. A regional producer from the Lake District was also able to secure a place on the podium. The Neuzelle agricultural cooperative received third prize in the direct marketing category for its salad creations. The pro agro association received a total of 1945 applications in the three categories of rural and nature tourism, direct marketing and the food industry. Last year, the Oder-Spree Lake District was able to accept the marketing award from the Association for the Promotion of Rural Areas in Berlin-Brandenburg. The "late riser tours" took second place in January 60. Brandenburg's largest and most water-rich travel region will be presenting its numerous tour recommendations and excursion tips until January 2023th at the traditional trade fair for nutrition, agriculture and horticulture in Brandenburghalle 2.a. The team is supported by regional partners such as the Fürstenwalde Brewery Museum, the Ranzig Country Butcher's Shop, the Strausberg Findlingshof, Kara Limo from Frankfurt (Oder) and the Artprojekt group with its restaurants and cafés in Bad Saarow, Groß Schauen and Strausberg.
