Arrival: Historic Bad Saarow Train Station

If you are arriving by car, we recommend using the free Park & ​​Ride car park behind the train station. Alternatively, you can also travel by train. 

From the barrier-free station you can get your first glimpse of some Wilhelminian-era villas.

Tourist Information Bad Saarow

The tourist information office is located directly at the train station and is easily accessible via the step-free access. The staff are happy to help and provide up-to-date tips on all the attractions and events in the area.

It's time for a little, enjoyable refreshment. To do this, head towards the Kurpark Colonnade, which is just a few minutes' walk from the train station.

Strolling and shopping in the spa town

In the immediate vicinity are the Kurpark Colonnade, built in classic style, the new meeting place in Bad Saarow with its attractive and stylish shopping offers. 

Ob Fashion (e.g. the boutiques “Spiegelbild”, “Vivied” and “Royal”), regional delicacies (e.g. regional shop “Mark in Brandenburg” and the “Fish Boutique” of the Köllnitz fishery"), Wellness (eg ”db cosmetics”) or Flowers (e.g. florist “Kudella”), to name just a few offers - pure shopping experience!

All stores are accessible on the ground floor and offer a comprehensive, individual range of services. This includes large changing rooms and assistance with trying on clothes, as well as benches in the courtyard for relaxing. The spa park can be easily reached via the wide, walkable footpath on Seestrasse.

The directly adjacent spa park then invites you to take a leisurely stroll through the park landscape right by Scharmützelsee. The short circular paths through the park are at ground level and paved. There are also numerous places to sit by the water.

Kurfürstensteg

The highlight is the panoramic view of the Scharmützelsee from the Kurfürstensteg. This is located behind the Park Café in the direction of the harbor and can be reached via the Ludwig-Lesser-Promenade or via the barrier-free access from Seestrasse / corner of Kirchstrasse.

Tips to end the evening in a relaxed manner

Back to the Kurpark Colonnade: As a culinary (day) finale, the amiceria with Italian cuisine and Mediterranean lifestyle.

If the evening is not over yet, the nearby and easily accessible Scharwenka House, the cultural pearl on Lake Scharmützelsee, offers classical concerts, discussions, cabaret and much more. 

Another option is to enjoy a movie at the cinema. The cinema “cinema by Velotel” in the Kurpark Colonnade offers current films in two cinema halls. 

And if you don’t want to drive home in the evening, you can, for example, stay in the individually designed Velotel spend the night in a comfortable room.

Perhaps today you'll be tempted by a 1,5-hour guided tour of the dream houses of Bad Saarow... (approx. 2,5 km, the route and breaks are adapted to the needs of the participants)
