You can park your car directly in front of the tourist information office on the castle estate. A short walk of a few minutes takes you to the tourist information office, where you can get information first hand. 

Driving around the castle estate with a golf cart

At the tourist information office you will meet Ulrich Handke, the night watchman of Altlandsberg and your competent guide to the castle estate. Here you will climb into the golf cart and be driven in comfort to the historical sites of the castle estate. Ulrich Handke will tell you a wealth of information about the history of the historic place.

Together you will follow in the footsteps of Otto von Schwerin, who as a diplomat and First Minister of the Electorate of Brandenburg was of decisive importance in the creation of the Prussian state. The tour takes you past the tactile model of the castle estate, where you can get an overview of the entire castle complex. It continues to the castle church, past the castle courtyard with its ornamental gardens to the manor house and the former cow and horse stables of the domain.

At the end of the tour, you will stop off at the Altlandsberg town information center for a leisurely coffee. Here you will also have the opportunity to enjoy culinary delicacies from the region. 

How about a glass of Wriezen mustard from the Oderbruch or handmade beer pralines made from the house's own copper beer.
