DEKAFFEE roastery

10th anniversary in Erkner

Dagmar Eckart's small shop roastery is celebrating its big anniversary this year and is still looking for special types of coffee from all over the world. If the weather is good, you can enjoy fresh coffee specialties on the terrace or take your favorite blend home with you. It would also make a great Christmas present.

In the heart of Brandenburg's most beautiful stream valley

In the heart of Brandenburg’s most beautiful stream valley lies the WaldSeeHotel WirchenseeThis very special place is shaped by the rhythm of the surrounding nature and exudes a unique charm that cannot be described but must be experienced for yourself. The owner Werner Hölzer fell in love with this little piece of earth over 30 years ago and created a place for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet and outdoor sports enthusiasts.

In the hotel, all modern rooms facing the lake have a clear view of the romantic Wirchensee, which is particularly inviting for a walk around the lake and bird watching in autumn. Another highlight, in addition to the spacious spa area with lake view sauna, is a sauna raft on the jetty, from which you can jump straight into the refreshing water. In the hotel's own restaurant, the chef spoils the palate with traditional dishes. Particular attention is paid to the use of high-quality ingredients, most of which come directly from local producers. Lubusz region

Just get out

© TMB photo archive / Steffen Lehmann

The beautiful region on the border with Poland has a lot to offer in terms of landscape. Many people are drawn to the region, especially in spring, between March and May, when the infamous Adonis flowers bloom on the slopes of the Oder. But the Lubusz region is fascinating in every season, invites you to go on long bike rides or hikes and also has many historical and cultural treasures to offer.

The Oder-Neisse cycle path leads directly through the former bishopric town of Lebus. At the top of the castle hill you can delve deeper into history and enjoy the panoramic view of the old town and the Oder river landscape. You might be lucky and see the "Brieger geese" swimming on the river on particularly cold days. The oldest half-timbered house in town houses the Lebuser Land Museum with a permanent exhibition on the history of the region and the diocese.
