Directions/Useful information: With a final glance at Lake Scharmützel, it's time to bid farewell to the "Brandenburg Sea." To the south, the 66 Lakes Trail connects the Glubig Lakes. Through diverse woodlands, the trail leads, at a respectful distance, to the Kleiner Glubigsee (Little Glubig Lake), Großer Glubigsee (Great Glubig Lake), Springsee (Spring Lake) with its nature campsite, Melangsee, and finally Godnasee, secluded in the forest with small bathing spots and no access roads. The trail continues past the Brasinski-Luch, a protected fen, to Lake Neuendorf. In Neuendorf, the northern edge of the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve is reached. Through meadows and over bridges, the path leads via Hohenbrück and Neu Lübbenau to Leibsch, the day's destination. There, the labyrinthine waterways of the young Spree River converge. Tip for those wishing to extend their stay: Boat trips for exploring the Lower Spreewald depart from two points in the village.
