The sound of the Cöthen river accompanies the hiker through the village. At the end of the village, turn left. The turnoff to the left leads into the Gamengrund nature reserve and further to the small Gamensee. The hike continues along the eastern shore of the lake. Soon you reach the rest area at the Great Gamensee. The path winds its way between several small lakes with water lilies and a few small differences in altitude.
