Directions:
Behind Wollenberg, the village road becomes a forest path that winds through sparse mixed forest. Turn right on the L35, then follow the markings at the car park onto the forest path that leads through the forest past small ponds. A paved road goes up to the Teller. It goes down to the Baaseemoor, which looks like a flooded alluvial forest. Steps lead over an embankment to the nature trail hut and bring the Baasee into view. The path leads between the moor and the lake past the tallest tree, a mighty Douglas fir, to the forest tavern at the Baasee. Turn left at the car park and continue through the forest to reach Sonnenburg. After leaving the forest, the landscape changes. Sandy paths lead through meadows and fields. The path leads through a dry valley, the Biesdorfer Kehlen nature reserve, with typical vegetation to the forest pool, and then back to the hiking car park at the Stadtsee in Wriezen.
