The tour begins at the "Strausberg Stadt" S-Bahn station. A well-developed cycle path runs along the Hohensteiner Chaussee to Hohenstein. From there, field and forest paths lead through wonderful nature to Garzau-Garzin. In addition to the Slavic castle rampart, the community impresses with the largest fieldstone pyramid in Germany. Following the "R1" for a short stretch, you reach Rehfelde. On the last section, the "ZR1" meanders from Rehfelde to Strausberg, skirting the Herrensee, which lies in the middle of the Herrensee, Lange-Damm-Wiesen and Barnim-Hänge nature reserve. Following the "Tour Brandenburg" signs, you cycle towards Strausberg city center, directly on the shore path of the beautiful Straussee with its unique Straussee ferry. If you want, you can pay a visit to the lovingly designed city museum at Kopernikusstraße before heading back to the starting point through the old town.
