After arriving at Wendisch Rietz station, just cross the Beeskower Chaussee and you will find yourself in the countryside, away from the noise of the big city.
Immerse yourself in the nature of the Glubigseen chain
After arriving in Wendisch-Rietz by regional train, you head straight into the fragrant forest. A shortcut takes you after about a kilometer to the "Glubigsee circular path," which is marked with a yellow dot. The Great Glubigsee opens up. Here on the western shore, there is a special silence. An idyllic rest area offers a small bathing area. Perfect for cooling off in summer. It is quiet and safe for bathing here, as motorboats are not allowed on the Glubigsee.
The path continues south along the edge of a restricted area for the German army. Don't worry about the warning signs - these are official paths! About halfway along, you cross a small canal that connects the Glubigsee with the Springsee. They are part of the Glubigseen chain of lakes here in the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park. You might spot fish like perch and rudd in the clear water. The Springsee also appears briefly and glitters between the trees.

The path leads north along the east bank on the 66-lakes hiking trail and past the holiday park to another bathing area. There is the option of jumping off the large jetty or going into the water on the sandy beach.
End the tour with a fish sandwich or cake
At the end of the tour you can take a look at the Kleiner Glubigsee. After you have reached the weekend houses and finally the road, there is a hidden entrance to the lake on the left. There is a beautiful view from the benches and the jetty. A restaurant on a small peninsula is visible in the distance. Water lilies bloom on the water, fishing boats are moored at the jetty, and a house with a thatched roof is reminiscent of the Baltic Sea.
The fish restaurant by the lake not only serves delicious fish dishes, but also offers the option of taking a fish sandwich to go.
