E-bike tour "To the Reetz villages: pure nature"

Cyclists can really pick up the pace on this tour. On the Oder dike alone, the route is often very straight and flat for several kilometers. In addition, the route always offers a wonderful natural backdrop that invites you to enjoy.

Arrival and departure:

• Train: from Berlin Ostkreuz with the RB26 (Kostrzyn) (approx. 1 hour)
• Car: from Berlin via the A113, A10 and B1 to Golzow (approx. 1,5 hours)

Directions: 
The tour starts and ends in Golzow. Here you can visit the film museum "Children of Golzow", which is reminiscent of the long-term documentary of the same name. Via Genschmar you go to the town of Sophienthal, where you can see lots of blue bicycles along the side of the road. Following the Oder dike you reach the beautiful town of Groß Neuendorf. Here you can find an old port with a gallery and two museums. The route to Zollbrücke continues along the Oder dike. Now you can pick up some speed, as the route is partly straight.
In Zollbrücke there is the Theater am Rand, which was built by the two artists Thomas Rühmann and Tobias Morgenstern and is used every weekend.
The return trip takes you inland, past the village of Altreetz to the oldest colonist village of Neulietzegöricke. In this idyllic village, many of the old half-timbered houses have been lovingly reconstructed. 
In Neubarnim, the cyclist will pass many half-timbered houses typical of the region and then continue along a two-kilometer-long, dead-straight linden tree avenue towards Letschin. Before reaching Letschin, the Wilhelmsaue post mill can be viewed. In Letschin itself there is a lot to discover, for example the Letschin local history room, the Fontane Park, a monument to the "Old Fitz", the Schinkel Tower and a railway museum. Before reaching the starting point and thus the end of the tour, the route leads through Zechin. The Königs-Mühle, an outdoor swimming pool and the village museum can be found in the town.
