You would think that autumn is the favorite season for hikers. The light gets warmer. A cool breeze, a harbinger of winter, roams the treetops. Running in the fresh air strengthens and invigorates. The golden play of colors of the leaves is fascinating. The Schlaube burbles quietly along the path. The autumn mood is picturesquely reflected in the idyllic lake scenery in the Schlaubetal.

The route is around 4,5 km long and goes around the Wirchensee, along the Försterblick with an impressive view of the lake. The hike continues on the 4 km long circular route with a nature trail from/at the Schlaubemühle towards Kieselwitzer Mühle and back to the starting point. The tour is an autumn hike of around 2,5 hours along the lake shore, through enchanted natural landscapes with idyllic places that invite you to linger.
