This challenging bike tour "Into the Land of Gorges and Gorges" shows the Oder-Spree Lake District from its hilly side. Around Buckow, in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, glacial landscapes with lakes, gorges, and mountain ranges dominate the scene. The route runs through varied forests, moors, and historic town centers.

Directions
The tour starts at Strausberg Stadt train station. The tour initially leads along Lake Straussee, past Europe's oldest electric cable ferry. Via Rehfelde and Garzau, it continues to the fieldstone pyramid in the landscape park of the same name.
In Buckow, the center of Märkische Schweiz (Märkische Schweiz), restaurants and sights like the Brecht-Weigel House invite you to linger. The route continues through the Stobber Valley to Ihlow—famous as a filming location for the Krause films—and ends after about 50 km at Strausberg Airfield.
