With a little luck, cyclists will be able to see this spectacle several times, as the region around Groß Schauen is one of the natural areas with the highest number of ospreys in all of Germany. Even if the birds don't show up, tourists can still tell very authentic stories about their encounter with an eagle.
On the grounds of the Köllnitz fishery near Storkow, a screen shows the goings-on in a nest not far away. The foundation of the animal filmmaker Heinz Sielmann, who died in 2006, had a camera installed. The images fit wonderfully with the other impressions on observation towers, a salt hiking trail or in the Münchehofe glass dairy.
