Directions
The tour begins with a ride on tram line 88 through the Berlin city forest. The hiking trail begins at Rüdersdorf Market Square, passing the Friedrich Bakery and the Chau Restaurant. After crossing the Kalkgraben ditch, the trail follows the 66-Lakes Hiking Trail (blue dot) along the Kalksee. Small natural swimming spots, footbridges, and old traces of former day-trip restaurants line the shore.
At the southern tip of the lake, the canal to the Woltersdorf Lock begins. Historic villas and natural shorelines offer a diverse range of views. The path continues to the lock via Kranichsberg, with its observation tower and views as far as Berlin.
