The Park tour through the twin cities of Frankfurt (Oder)/Słubice This tour combines a cross-border journey of discovery with urban green spaces and European history. Over approximately 17 kilometers, cyclists experience two countries in one day – along the Oder River, through historic city centers, well-maintained parks, and modern university campuses. The tour is ideal for a relaxed half-day trip with numerous cultural and scenic highlights.

Directions
The tour begins at the German-Polish Tourist Information Center in the historic Bolfras House in Frankfurt (Oder). From there, the route leads through the Olympic Grove, past the Kleist Museum, to the Oder Promenade. After a possible coffee break in the Countess Dönhoff Building of the European University Viadrina, the tour continues across the wooden bridge to Ziegenwerder Island – a popular recreational area directly in the Oder River.

Following the Hermann-Weingärtner-Weg trail, you'll pass the Friendship Stadium and, via the village green, reach the Rose Garden and St. Gertrude's Church. The route continues to St. Mary's Church, where a descent is worthwhile: the imposing brick building impresses with its colorful choir windows and a view from the tower. The tour then crosses the Oder River via the town bridge and arrives in the center of Słubice.

On the Polish side, the route follows the Oder promenade, passes the bazaar, and crosses a busy road to reach the adjacent park. Passing the Kleist Tower and the Ostmark Stadium, as well as a recreational area with seasonal activities, the path continues to Pionierów Park with its playground and recreational areas. Passing Freedom Square with the monument to "Kätchen von Heilbronn," the route leads to Friendship Square, ideal for a break during the warmer months.

Another highlight is the rooftop terrace of the Collegium Polonicum, offering views of the city bridge and Frankfurt (Oder). Afterwards, the route crosses the Oder River again and continues through the Klingetal valley, featuring carved fairytale figures in Lienaupark. Via Poetensteig and Bergstraße, you'll reach the Park an der Klinge, the Kießling buildings, and the Botanical Garden. The return journey leads through Kleistpark and Lennépark back to the starting point.
