This route takes you through the historic town centers of Kremmen, Neuruppin, Rheinsberg, Gransee, Templin, Angermünde, Bad Freienwalde and Altlandsberg.
During your tour, visit and experience the largest barn district still preserved in Germany in Kremmen, the classicist town of Neuruppin, Rheinsberg and its legendary moated castle, Gransee with its Wieck houses, Templin's completely preserved city wall, Angermünde and its beautiful market square and the pretty houses all around, Bad Freienwalde with its numerous villas from the Baroque, Classicist and Wilhelminian periods and Altlandsberg with its worth seeing ring-shaped city wall, the gate towers and the ramparts.

The route also runs through a fabulous landscape, which is characterized above all by the Stechlin-Ruppiner Seenland and Uckermärkische Seen nature parks, the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve and the Lower Oder Valley National Park.
You can start the route from a variety of different starting points and there is also an excellent connection to Berlin, meaning that the capital can also serve as a starting or destination point.
