  • 123,00 km
  • Start: Berliner Straße 34 15848 Beeskow
  • Destination: Slubicer Straße 15232 Frankfurt
Idyll, excitement, adventure: This tour has a lot to offer - and builds bridges between neighbors. First on the way between Schlaubetal and Oder, then on the "jump" to Poland, cyclists experience a path that connects the most beautiful areas on both sides of the border.
By the way: The cycle path between Beeskow and Sulecin did not come about by chance. Beeskow and Friedland have maintained a partnership with Sulecin for years.

Length: 123 km (Brandenburg section 60 km)

Start: Beeskow

Goal: Sulecin

Logo / route sign: German flag, Polish flag, lettering "Beeskow-Sulecin".

Arrival: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof take the RE2 (Cottbus) to Königs Wusterhausen. From here take the RB36 (Frankfurt / Oder) to Beeskow (approx. 2 hours).

Check out: If you drive to Sulecin, you would have to cycle about 40 km back to Frankfurt / Oder to get back to Berlin by train. From Frankfurt, take the RE1 (Brandenburg an der Havel) to Berlin Central Station (about 1 hour).

Course: Beeskow, Ranzig, Leißnitz, Friedland, Oelsen, Dammendorf, Mixdorf, Kaisermühl, Schlaubehammer, Güldendorf, Frankfurt / Oder, Slubice, Gorzyca, Zabice, Czarnow, Stansk, Gronow, Osno Lubuskie, Grabno, Lubien, Brzezno, Sulecin

Directions: After a relaxed start in Beeskow, the first surprise is not long in coming. Locals smile, day-trippers rub their eyes in amazement: just behind Ranzig, Brandenburg's smallest ferry shuttles back and forth on the Spree. Only 10 people fit on it. But for "captain" Maik Slotta, it's still hard work. The man from Märk uses pure muscle power to get his mini raft moving. "I don't need any exercise in the evenings anymore," laughs the ferryman.

Then the tranquil Friedland lives up to its name. The fruit trees and gardens probably looked the same 50 years ago as they do today. From the shady edge of the forest in summer you can see the heat shimmering over the cornfield - and sometimes not a soul for half an hour. Behind Oelsen you enter a fairytale forest in Brandenburg, peppered with winding paths and quiet lakes. We are talking about the Schlaubetal. Cyclists can cool off not only here, but also in the Helenesee south of Frankfurt (Oder). To the east of the Kleist city, tourists look beyond their own horizons. Whether it is the floodplain forests near Slubice, the lake district near O'sno Lubuskie or the Suleciner Switzerland: cycle there! It is beautiful in Poland too - certainly not just in summer.
