Directions
From the "Schlagmühle" tram stop, first walk along the railway tracks and turn left onto Garzauer Straße. Follow the road out of Strausberg and cross the busy bypass road. Continue along Altlandsberger Chaussee until you turn right onto "Hauptweg".
The path leads through the small settlement area of Postbruch into beautiful nature. From here, follow the “7” marker along the shore of the Bötzsee. The path winds its way past large and small bathing areas through shady mixed forest to the northern tip of the lake.
The “Spitzmühlenweg” takes you to the western bank. The path sometimes runs close to the bank, then again halfway up through the forest, where you can still find pure nature.
You will soon be approaching the barrier-free Bötzsee lido, which has a wonderful sandy beach and invites you to take a refreshing dip in the cool water. After a relaxing rest, you walk along Altlandsberger Chaussee and Garzauer Straße back to the “Schlagmühle” tram stop.
