The Storkower See, also known as Dolgensee, is 3,7 km² in size and 12 meters deep at its deepest point. It is the smaller brother of the Scharmützelsee. Together they form a well-functioning, unbeatable team as a tourist destination.

Start/Finish: Storkow Castle
Course: Storkow Castle, Karlslust Beach, Nettis Pantry, Hubertushöhe Castle, Catholic Church, Sheep Bridge, Wendisch Rietz, Dahmsdorf, Wolfswinkel, Reichenwalder Straße, Old Vineyard, Beach, Drawbridge, Old Town, Storkow Castle
Length: 17 km; Duration: about 5 hours

The tour starts at the castle to Karlslust beach. In "Nettis Speisekammer" there are regional delicacies for a strengthening snack. The most magnificent building on the tour is probably the Hubertushöhe hunting lodge, a listed historical complex on the banks of Lake Storkow. The castle was built between 1899 and 1900 for the Berlin printing company owner and publisher Georg Büxenstein as a representative country house and hunting lodge with outbuildings. The next point on the map is the small Catholic church. The building is modeled on a scaled fish, the tail fin of which can be seen in the altar window. Before you reach the sheep bridge near Wendisch Rietz, a well-built log dam winds its way through the middle of a moor.
In Dahmsdorf, a district of Reichenwalde, the beach offers a wonderfully picturesque view over Lake Storkow to the castle opposite. On Reichenwalder Strasse you pass the horse pond and the modern lido. You return to the castle via the drawbridge on the Storkow Canal and the old town.

refreshment tip: Nettis Speisekammer, Strandbistro Wolfswinkel, Gaststätte Alter Weinberg, Steakhaus Matador
