Along the way you will find the Great Storkow Lake, open sandy areas and the viewing point at the Waltersberge inland dune. In Storkow (Mark) there are sights such as the town church from the 14th century and the over 800 year old castle to explore. The castle also houses the visitor center of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park with informative exhibitions on the unique flora and fauna as well as other excursion tips.

- Train: hourly from Berlin Hbf with the RE2 towards Cottbus to Königs Wusterhausen, change to RB36 towards Müllrose to Storkow (Mark)
- Cars: From Berlin take the A10 towards Frankfurt (Oder) to the Spreeau junction, then continue on the A12, exit Storkow (Mark), parking spaces are available in Storkow (Mark).
