Description
The trail leads through a pine forest toward Lake Schervenz, past holiday cottages and small banks offering views of waterfowl. Winding paths alternate with new vistas, with juniper and thuja trees lining the path. A dry moorland with black alder groves and moss-covered roots characterizes the next stage.
Past the Siehdichum Forester's Cemetery, the trail descends to the certified Schlaubetal hiking trail. A detour to the Siehdichum Forester's Lodge offers a rest stop. The trail leads past the Schinkensee, Langer See, and Schulzenwasser lakes, fed by the Schlaube River, back to the Kupferhammer with its striking fish ladder.
