Arrival/Departure:
RE1 to Jacobsdorf, then take bus A400 to Bremsdorfer Mühle (May–October, weekends/public holidays)
Return: A400 to Jacobsdorf, RE1 towards Berlin
Directions
The tour begins at the Bremsdorf Mill and follows the Schlaube River upstream. The path leads through shady hillside forests with noticeable elevation changes, following the winding course of the stream. About halfway along the route, you reach the clearing at the Kieselwitz Mill, where fish farming is still carried out today.
A special highlight is the Schlaube Canyon – a deeply carved valley formed over millennia. The tour ends at the former Schlaube Mill, amidst tranquil nature.
