This audio walk takes you through the history of the village of Altranft and traces the dramatic change from a once independent farming village to a district of the town of Bad Freienwalde.

The TALK WALK has been developed for all visitors to the Oderbruch Museum Altranft who want to set out on their own and get to know the village of Altranft a little better. It leads to 20 stations where - via smartphone - you can listen to conversations with people from Altranft and the surrounding area about these places, conducted by the Leipzig walking researcher Bertram Weisshaar. The Talk Walk can also be used outside of the museum's opening hours.
The Talk Walk leads from the historic buildings of the Oderbruch Museum, through the old manor house in the middle of the village, past the train station and through a residential area of single-family homes to the industrial park on the southern edge of the village, today's economic center. At selected locations along the way - including a visible milking carousel - people give an insight into the history and present of the village through conversation.
The Talk Walk can be combined with the “Schemmsandkegelweg” (sand cone path) of the Oderbruch Museum.
