Directions
The canoe tour begins either next to the lido on Lake Storkow, at the lido in Karlslust or at the boat rental "Wolfstouren" in Wolfswinkel. A visit to the historic Storkow (Mark) Castle should definitely be planned, as it is one of the most worth seeing places in the region.

Lake Storkow is known among water enthusiasts as a popular motorboat and sailing area. The elongated lake is crossed in the direction of Wendisch Rietz. A special highlight is the view of the Hubertushöhe hunting lodge, built in 1903. There is the option of mooring there to explore the art and culture park that is being built here.

Before going through a canal to the southern tip of the beautiful Scharmützelsee, the first self-service lock in Wendisch Rietz is passed before going through a stream into the Grosser Glubigsee. There is the lock at the fish house, which is currently out of service. The canoe has to be carried here.

If you wish, the canoe can be picked up by "Wolfstouren" at the Glubigsee lock. The paddling tour on the Springsee and Glubigsee is particularly quiet and idyllic, as motorboats are not allowed here.

Tips:
  • Storkow (Mark): Castle, inland dune, salt marshes, observation tower, Irrlandia interactive park
