The nature path leads via the Poetensteig pathway through the forests of the Pritzhagen mountains, past the “Teufelsstein” and “Großer Stein” boulders to the Dachsberg. The hike then passes through the Wolfsschlucht Gorge, to the Pritzhagen Mill into the idyllic Stobbertal Valley to the Julianenhof Bat Museum. The Natura Trails launched by Naturefriends are cycle routes and hiking trails that open up the region’s many natural treasures to visitors so that they can experience them fully. Themed information panels draw attention to special features. In order to minimise the burden on the habitats of the flora and fauna, the Natura Trails follow paths that have already been identified.

Route description

1st section, around 5 kilometres
Buckow primary school (Märkische Schweiz) - Poetensteig pathway towards Krugberg – at the Moritzgrund information sign, turn right via Jenashöhe to the Dachsberg (protective canopy) – continue through the Silberkehle Gorge to Großer Tornowsee lake – Pritzhagen Mill

2nd section, around 6 kilometres
From Pritzhagen Mill through the Stobbertal Valley towards Eichendorf Mill – at the Fledermaus-Museum (Bat Museum) information sign, go through Junker Hansens Gorge to Julianenhof to the International Bat Museum across the dirt track back into the Stobbertal Valley

3rd section, around 6 kilometres
In the Stobbertal Valley, walk partly along the E11 westwards, towards Buckow (Märkische Schweiz) to the Güntherquelle spring.
You will see an overview map here. Then go north towards Krugberg. At the Giebelpfuhl pond, turn off left, where you will come back to the Buckow school parking area.
