Adler trifft Zander

eagle meets zander

The “Eagle meets Zander” single-day bicycle tour combines cycling by the water and culinary breaks at a relaxed pace. And it can't get much fresher: Zander, eel, pike and carp were only just swimming in the clear lake and shortly afterwards they are being served to guests in a restaurant, snack bar or mobile kiosk. Other types of fish come from the smokehouse directly to the table. The “Adler trifft Zander” (Eagle meets Zander) tour is just right for you if you want to enjoy these delights and also cycle through a beautiful landscape. There is no shortage of opportunities to enjoy fish dishes in the area around Lake Storkowersee and Lake Scharmützelsee. Of course, people who love meat dishes or vegetarian food will also find something to suit them in the different types of restaurants. You can choose a restaurant with a lake view, a café on the castle courtyard or a rustic country restaurant depending on your mood.
The flat route of the tour means that you still have plenty of time to enjoy observing nature in addition to eating and cycling. The osprey in particular impresses with its wide wingspan in the sky and its hunting skills on the lake. It is particularly enjoyable doing the tour on an e-bike. These can be rented at many points along the tour.
