In his creative workshops on the subject of "monotype", Ulrich Handke gives an introduction to this versatile printing technique, which only produces unique pieces. Monotype means "one single image" - there is only one original, only one print per printing plate. The motif is applied directly to a smooth surface with wet ink and a print is made while the ink is still wet.

- DescriptionUnder Handke's guidance, the workshop participants will create their own works of art in the Gutshaus in a convivial atmosphere over coffee and cake and then take them home with them. They will work on various media and with different materials. There are no limits to creativity.

- About the regionBeautifully renovated old town streets surrounded by an original cultural landscape beyond the historic town wall - Altlandsberg is a gem just outside Berlin. The later King Frederick I spent his youth at the castle estate - today the complex is a popular wedding and conference location and also a venue for a variety of cultural events. Ulrich Handke has set up his small creative workshop in the cellar of the manor house and passes on his knowledge to interested visitors in the form of workshops.
