Forested with deciduous and coniferous trees, the Bötzsee is a good three kilometers long and up to 400 meters wide between the towns of Altlandsberg and Strausberg. The Bötzsee is part of the landscape conservation area Strausberger and Blumenthaler forest and lake area and has a good water quality. The lido Bötzsee offers swimming fun in the green at the gates of Berlin. It is the only barrier-free lido in the region. Thanks to a jetty with a lift, even wheelchair users can get into the water. Extensive sunbathing lawns and a sandy beach with lots of sun, shady trees and a jetty with a diving tower leave nothing to be desired.

The Großer Müllroser See is located in the Schlaubetal Nature Park and impresses with its size of a good 130 hectares and its excellent water quality. In the outdoor pool on the eastern shore of the lake there is a sandy beach and a meadow for sunbathing. There are sufficient parking facilities, sanitary facilities, changing rooms, catering facilities, a nature playground, volleyball court and a camping site.

Springsee is part of the Glubigsee chain, which stretches from Grubensee, Melangsee, Großer and Kleiner Glubigsee to Scharmützelsee. This chain of lakes originated from an ice-age meltwater channel. That was many thousand years ago. What has remained with the Springsee is a body of water that is almost 60 hectares in size and up to 19 meters deep with exceptionally clear water. Local divers love the good underwater visibility.
There is a campsite with a snack bar and a sandy beach directly at Springsee.
